Managing your Practize subscription

Check the current subscription

Open Settings → Subscription for the account-specific subscription state. This page can show the current plan, billing interval, renewal or trial date, allowance usage, active Apps, recurring total, and the actions currently available to the practice.

Practize subscription billing is separate from payments collected from clients. Changing a practice subscription does not mark a client invoice as paid, and a client payment does not activate a Practize plan or App.

Trial and paid access

The configured onboarding offer is a 14-day Business trial for eligible new practices. It includes the configured Business allowances, one five-staff trial add-on, and trial access to configured paid non-AI Apps. AI Starter and AI Pro are excluded. App access during the trial does not bypass setup, permissions, country support, provider requirements, compatibility checks, or release controls.

If an eligible practice does not move to a paid plan, the trial falls back to Free when it expires. Existing practice data is retained, while Free allowances can restrict new records or further growth. Trial expiry alone must not delete data or create a charge.

Change or cancel a subscription

Available upgrade, downgrade, billing-interval, payment-method, and cancellation actions depend on the account’s current provider, status, pending changes, country, and rollout eligibility. Use only the actions displayed on Settings → Subscription.

A checkout return does not by itself prove that the subscription changed. Wait for the Subscription page to display the resulting plan or pending state. Avoid starting another checkout while a change is still pending.

When supported, cancellation can be scheduled for the end of the current paid period. The page should show the effective end date. Cancelling the Practize subscription does not refund or cancel payments received from clients.

If an action is unavailable

Never include a full card number, security code, API key, provider credential, webhook secret, billing-portal link, or client payment information in a help question.
