Vouchers
What vouchers do
A voucher represents a defined number of uses for eligible services or events. A client voucher tracks remaining uses and expiry. Vouchers are different from Gift Cards, which represent value rather than a fixed set of uses.
Create a voucher
Activate Vouchers in Settings → Apps, then open the vouchers area in Services. Create a voucher with a clear name, price, number of uses, expiry rules, and eligible services or events. Review VAT and payment-rate settings when they are offered.
Make the voucher available in the public flow only after its eligibility is correct. Test purchase, assignment to the intended client, one redemption, the remaining-use count, and expiry behavior.
Manage a client’s voucher
Open the client record to view assigned vouchers when the signed-in user has client access. Authorized users may add or remove a use according to the displayed controls. Record manual corrections carefully; changing remaining uses affects what the client can book.
If a voucher is not offered, check that the App and voucher are active, it applies to the selected service or event, uses remain, it has not expired, and the client is signed in when required.
Financial and privacy boundaries
A successful page redirect is not proof of payment. Confirm the payment and voucher state in Practize and, when needed, the payment provider. Do not paste voucher identifiers, client names, payment details, or provider responses into the AI Assistant. It can explain the workflow but cannot redeem or alter a voucher.
