Discount Codes
Plan a discount code
Discount Codes let a practice apply a defined reduction in supported purchase or booking flows. Before creating one, decide the code, discount type, validity period, usage conditions, and the products or flows where it should apply.
Configure and test
Open Settings → Apps → Discount Codes, activate the App, and create or edit the code. Use a code that is easy for clients to enter but not likely to be guessed when the offer is restricted. Set dates and limits deliberately, and check whether prices include VAT before deciding the amount or percentage.
Test the code in the same public flow clients will use. Confirm that an invalid, expired, or ineligible code is rejected; an eligible code changes the expected line and total; and the final confirmation and invoice show the intended result.
Operate the offer
Disabling a code stops future eligible use but does not reverse completed purchases. If a code was configured incorrectly, disable it, identify affected transactions through normal reports, and correct them using the supported invoice or refund workflow.
If a code does not work, check spelling, dates, usage limits, eligible service or product, currency, active App status, and whether another discount rule conflicts.
Security and privacy
Treat unpublished promotional codes as business-sensitive. Do not include client names, transaction details, provider payloads, or restricted codes in an AI Assistant question. The Assistant can explain configuration; it cannot validate the commercial or legal terms of an offer.
