Consent

The Consent App lets a practice present consent text during selected client flows, such as booking or purchasing. It records the choice made in that flow. It does not replace legal review, and enabling a checkbox does not by itself prove that wording is suitable for every service, country, or client.

Open Settings → Apps → Consent. Activate the App, enter the approved consent wording, and select the flows where consent is required. Keep the text clear and specific. Link to the relevant privacy or service terms when the settings provide that option.

Test each enabled flow from the client side. Confirm that the text is visible before submission, that a required choice blocks submission when left empty, and that optional consent is not presented as mandatory.

Review and change settings

Use the client or transaction record to review the consent evidence available for that action. If the wording changes, preserve the business reason and effective date outside the free-text wording where your compliance process requires it. A later wording change should not be assumed to rewrite past consent.

Permissions, troubleshooting, and privacy

Only authorized users should change consent settings. If consent does not appear, verify that the App and the specific flow are active, the public page uses the current configuration, and cached pages were refreshed.

Consent records can be sensitive personal data. Do not put client names, answers, signatures, or health information into an AI Assistant question. The Assistant can provide product instructions from this article but cannot decide legal sufficiency or retrieve a client’s consent record.
